Another Day

No matter what happens in life we hope and pray to live another day. No one I know has died recently. This is not about that. Is is about surviving the troubles and stresses each day.

Another day promises something better. Today could be so terrible that we cannot wait for another day.

Its like a new begining only instead of a new year it just a new day. An chance for things to get better just because we were rewarded with life another day.

Another day could mean that is just like any other day. "Yesterday the grass was green today is just another day."

Somethings do not change. Regardless of what we do we cannot change them. Noone wants to change the grass but even those who do cannot get the green out of grass.

So what do I mean by another day. I have not got a clue. It was something that popped into my head so I decided to blog about it.

Hopefully we know the things we can change so we do just that, and the things we cannot. We ignore.

As a little girl I did not play with dolls, did not play house. I climbed trees and explored how things worked. Tried to make my bike do things it was not meant to do. My mother complain when I was a toddler she would dress me in frilly dresses to play and I would prompty find mud or dirt. My mother and father had a loving relationship but I really did not see my father much. He worked the night shift. I had a close relationship with my mother. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS DRESS!

I was inspired by this blog SEW MUCH FABRIC, SEW LITTLE TIME. She is using her fabric stash to create a basic wardrobe. I just love all the T’s and skirts that she has made, so I have decided to work on doing the same. But first (no I am not putting it off) I have to finish this dress that is making me angry. I had a wonderful tropical print fabric which would have been the perfect summer dress. I kept the fabric for several summers and did nothing with it. I finally decided the make a dress; unfortunately it was not a summer dress. Well it is a summer dress but its not the perfect summer dress. I have decided to go back to not making decision when I am on my cycle. (ironic, huh!) Granted when you have not had a cycle for two months the PMS that usually sounds the warning bell is not so loud. Never make decision to cut your hair(I'm wearing a wig her name is Oprah) or use perfect summer fabric on a non summer dress. So my project is to redo this dress and create the perfect su...

I got the card in the mail today. You would have thought it was an invitation to the presidential gala! THE SALVATION ARMY GREATER PITTSBURGH WOMEN'S AUXILIARY FABRIC FAIR April 5, 2008 9am - 2 pm South Park Home Economics Building I have gone for the last 15 years and only missed one time. I can even remember what it was the stop me from making it at that time. It is the best place to get everything. Yarns, crochet hooks and knitting needles, quilting supplies, crafting materials, books, magazines, patterns,notions , crafting and sewing gadgets of all kinds and of course table and tables of Fabric! Wool for coats and suits, knits for tee shirts and sweats,specialty fabrics for all type of special occasions. Sheers, Lace, seersucker, cotton, silk, polyester, crepe, rayon, solids, flowers and prints. I love it and look forward to it.
